Savoy Hotel To Close

After many months of speculation it has been confirmed that the London Savoy hotel will be closing in December 07 for 18 months to undergo a £100m-plus refurbishment.

The budget for the works which will be overseen by Pierre-Yves Rochon is projected to be £100m.

The works will upgrade the suites overlooking the Thames, the guest rooms, corridors and public areas, and see the reopening of the River Restaurant.

During the restoration the Simpson’s restaurant will remain open.
